Terms of Service
Last updated June 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Radar, operated by [Company Legal Name] ("Radar", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Radar.
1. The service
Radar helps founders find and engage relevant conversations on Reddit, Hacker News, and other platforms. It scans communities you choose, scores threads for fit, and drafts replies and posts for your review. Radar is a drafting and intelligence tool: you decide what to publish.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Radar.
3. Acceptable use and the disclosed-engagement rule
Radar is built for honest, disclosed engagement. You agree that you will not use Radar to:
- Post content that hides your affiliation with the product you are promoting. Every reply Radar drafts includes a disclosure line, and you agree to keep it.
- Operate fake accounts, sockpuppets, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
- Spam communities, ignore subreddit or platform rules, or send unsolicited cold messages.
- Post unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent the limits of the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Content you post on third-party platforms is yours, and you are responsible for complying with each platform's terms (including Reddit and Hacker News).
4. Plans, billing, and limits
Radar offers a free plan and paid plans with usage limits described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
5. Third-party platforms
Radar relies on third-party platforms and data sources (including Reddit, Hacker News, and AI and email providers). We do not control these services, cannot guarantee their availability, and are not responsible for their content or actions. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Radar software, branding, and content, excluding your data and the content you create. You retain ownership of the product context you provide and the posts you publish. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate the service.
7. Disclaimers
Radar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI output may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing every draft before posting. We do not guarantee any particular marketing result, ranking, or outcome.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Radar and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using Radar and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the app. These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
